We believe that adoption is a special gift of love that both birth parents and adoptive parents give to a baby. What greater gift can a child have than to know that he or she is loved by two sets of parents? It's a powerful gift!
We are Pete and Francie
We know how special adoption is, as Pete was adopted as an infant. Though Pete has never met his birth parents, he is grateful for the life they gave him. Pete was adopted through an agency closed adoption - he and his birthparents do not have the opportunity to know about each other. This is why, when we chose to build our family by adoption, we decided to pursue private adoption. We adopted our daughter in 2006 through private adoption and feel it gave us (birth parents and adoptive parents) the flexibility of creating the type of adoptive relationship we were all comfortable with and also thought was best for Isabel. Whether you are more comfortable with a closed adoption, open adoption or something in between - it is clear that your child is and will continue to be surrounded by love.
